This Explore Scientific Losmandy Polar Scope is designed for Explore's G-11 Equatorial Mounts with PMC-8 GoTo System. The scope will easily align your mount in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres by rotating the scope so that it matches with the correct alignment stars. From there, you may need to make altitude or azimuth mount modifications in order to align the stars precisely with the reticle. No cumbersome data entry or calculations are necessary. The polar scope also includes a self-contained battery-powered thread-on LED illuminator.
