Apertura 0.75X 2" Focal Reducer For RC Telescopes
The 0.75X Focal Reducer by Apertura will increase apparent field and reduce exposure times when paired with a Ritchey-Chretien telescope.
This body's 2" slip-fit design is complete with a 2-element optical design enhanced with fully multi-coated optics. RC's with an f/8 focal ratio will reduce to f/6, and those with an f/9 focal ratio shorten to f/6.75.
The durable, black-anodized assembly can fit a 2" focuser or adapter and accept 2" barreled accessories through its anti-marring compression ring opening. The 0.75X Focal Reducer has a practical spacing distance of 70mm - 80mm, measured from the sensor to the reducer thread. The Apertura RC Reducer has an image circle of 15mm, and therefore works best in conjunction with CCD or CMOS sensors that have a diagonal measurement of 15mm or less.
This is a focal reducer only; not a reducer/flattener.
