Apertura 6" f/5 Newtonian OTA

Apertura's 6" f/4 Imaging Newtonian OTA is a great telescope for those beginning astronomers looking for a way to get started observing or imaging in deep space. The 6" optical tube is compact and is painted white. It will easily fit on mounts that have smaller weight capacities.

Focuser and Included Accessories

The OTA includes a rigid 2" Crayford focuser with linear bearings that create a sturdy draw tube and also includes Vixen-style dovetail plate and cradle rings to easily attach to your equatorial mount. A 35mm extension tube is included to add to the OTA's viewing capabilities.

Accessories include a 6 x 30 finder with bracket, a 2" to 1.25" adapter for the focuser, and a dust cover to keep the optics clean for safe storage.

We are also including a FREE 35mm Extension Tube - which you can attach to the focuser when you would like to use the telescope for visual use. For imaging, we recommend adding a coma corrector (not included), which will significantly reduce the coma that is inherent in all Newtonian telescopes.
