This mount features permanently programmable periodic error correction (PPEC), integer gear ratios, built-in adjustable backlash compensation, and autoguider support. What’s more, you can image across the meridian (the best part of the nighttime sky) without doing a meridian flip.

With fully computerized GoTo capabilities, Advanced VX can locate and track any of 40,000+ objects in the NexStar+ hand control’s database. To get started, perform a simple alignment procedure like Celestron’s Sky Align. For imaging, you can also use Celestron’s built-in All Star Polar Alignment to accurately orient your telescope with the north celestial pole—even if Polaris is obstructed by trees or buildings.

Advanced VX also offers an improved latitude range; use it anywhere in the world from 7 to 77 degrees latitude.
