    You get a sturdy, full-height tripod with 1" steel legs, two eyepieces for low and high power views, and an accessory tray to keep you organized.

    Getting started is easy

    When you receive your AstroMaster LT telescope, you'll be ready to observe within minutes of opening the box. The refractor style optical tube slides onto the full height tripod and mount with a simple dovetail attachment. The finderscope is already attached and aligned, so you can begin observing right away. You'll also receive two eyepieces--a low power 20mm eyepiece and a 10mm eyepiece for more magnified views.

    Once your telescope is assembled, where will you begin your journey through the cosmos? Explore the Moon's craters, marvel at Saturn's rings, admire Jupiter's four Galilean moons, or check out our closest planetary neighbor, Mars. This telescope is also a great choice to have on hand when visiting comets make their journey around the Sun. Beyond the Solar System, the AstroMaster 70LT AZ offers enought light gathering ability to observe the Orion Nebula, Pleiades Star Cluster, and more of the brightest deep sky objects.

    If you need help locating any of these objects, your telescope includes free astronomy software, The Sky X. This robust program includes printable star charts, a 10,000 object database of celestial objects, and 75 enhanced images.
