The Celestron Labs CM2000CF Compound Microscope offers magnifications of up to 2000x, and is loaded with features that are normally seen on instruments costing much more, including a mechanical stage, coarse and fine focus knobs, halogen lighting, and an Abbe condenser.  The CM200CF is perfect for teachers, the inquisitive student, or the hobbyist who would like a classic lab microscope with a wide range of magnifications.

40x - 2000x magnification

The CM2000CF comes with a 10x WF and a 20X WF eyepiece.  Each eyepiece will provide different magnifications when paired with the four objective lenses assembled in a classic rotating turret.  The 10x wide field eyepiece even comes with a pointer to help other observers zero in on the most important aspects of the specimen.  Enjoy eight magnification choices that include 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x,  800x, 1000x and 2000x.

Halogen lighting and Abbe NA 1.25 condenser

The Celestron CM2000CF microscope uses a Halogen lamp for specimen illumination.  Halogen provides a very white, bright, concentrated light.  The iris diaphragm of the NA 1.25 Abbe condenser concentrates and focuses the light so that your specimen is perfectly illuminated from underneath.  A dial is located near the condenser to allow adjustments to the light level.

Mechanical stage for perfect positioning of your subject

A fully adjustable mechanical stage is one of the upgraded features on the CM2000CF microscope from Celestron Labs.  The stage measures 4.3 inches by 4.9 inches, providing plenty of room for your slide, and adjustable stage holders keep the specimen in place.  Stage movement knobs make up, down, left, or right movements to the stage, allowing you to center your prepared slide perfectly over the opening.

This compound microscope is made of metal for heavy-duty performance. Accessories include an AC power cord, three colored filters to help increase the contrast of your specimens, a small bottle of immersion oil, and ten prepared slides in a storage box.  You will enjoy the functionality of this economical yet serious microscope, and appreciate the flexibility of its adjustable mechanical stage, magnification range,  and lighting system.
