Just when you thought TeleVue eyepieces couldn't improve anymore, along comes the Tele Vue Ethos eyepiece line with their incredible 100-degree apparent field of view! This 17mm Ethos eyepiece, combined with a good telescope, will allow you to come as close as possible to experiencing views similar to what astronauts must have seen when looking out the window of their spaceship. Since this eyepiece provides such expansive views, even the eyepiece itself vanishes from view, resulting in nothing but a dark, starry skyscape with the object you want to see.

The apparent field of view of the 17 mm Ethos is 50% larger than the 82-degree Nagler!
