The combination of a great telescope and this 8mm Ethos eyepiece will enable views that are as near as can be to what astronauts must see looking out the window of their spaceship. As the view through this eyepiece is so expansive, the eyepiece itself vanishes from your vision, resulting in nothing except a dark, starry background with the object you want to see.

The apparent field of view of the 8 mm Ethos is 50% larger than the 82-degree Nagler!
