Q1: How to install the prism in the meade telescope for land viewing. My budget is $400 for astronomical and terrestrial observation both.. KIndly suggest a good telescope which is handy and convenient...
A: the Meade ETX-70 is an excellent choice, to stay in the price range you are looking for. To install the prism remove cap from back of telescope and thread the prism on.
Q2: What does this prism do for my telescope?
A: What this prism will do is when looking through the scope the image will be right side up instead of inverted.
Q3: will the 933 erecting prissm fit all the etx scopes?
A: The Meade #933 Erecting Prism fits only the ETX-70 and ETX-80. For the rest of the ETX line, you'll need the #932. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/meade-932-45-erecting-prism-1-25-inch-for-etx-90-etx105-etx-125-6375.html.
