  • Description

Meade StarNavigator 90mm refractor telescope #20094. This easy to operate and fully computer-guided GO TO telescope features the Meade lightweight, portable and reliable DS-2000 single arm robotic mount and Meade AudioStar Computer Keypad. This incredible technology knows the night sky right out of the box. Turn it on, and after a brief alignment procedure, your telescope is ready to take you to any object in its over 30,000 object library or take you on a guided tour of the heavens. See more objects in one night than Galileo saw in a lifetime.

The StarNavigator 90mm refracting telescope features a lens diameter of 90mm (3.5") for bright, high contrast images and a focal length of 800mm; focal ratio f/8.8. Standard equipment on this portable but high quality instrument includes the Meade AudioStar computer keypad with over 30,000 object library, over 500 audio presentation files on various objects, AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition Software and Instructional DVD, easy to use red dot viewfinder, and two Meade 1.25" eyepieces (MA25mm and MA9mm) for magnifications of 32X and 89X.

The solidly built metal construction mount features advanced electronics to make alignment easy, including an internal clock, while the full size and adjustable height aluminum tripod allows comfortable viewing from either a seated or standing position. The mount is conveniently powered from the included internal battery pack which holds eight (user supplied) "AA" batteries. The generous light gathering ability of this scope combined with the enhanced electronics package means this may be all the telescope the casual observer might ever need or require.

This 3.5" diameter refracting telescope is well suited for a home with a view, nature watching, or other terrestrial applications. For these or other daytime uses an optional Meade #928 Image Erecting Prism #07217 may be used and is recommended. This specialty diagonal results in a non-inverted (upright and correct left to right image) image which is highly desirable for many daytime applications.

Product carries full one year Meade factory limited warranty.
